MAY HALF TERM JUNIOR HOLIDAY CAMPS

Its almost May Half Term, Tom will be running a camp from Wednesday 29th – Friday 31st May, 9am – 3pm each day. You can pay for one or all three days. Holiday Camps are open to all not just members, so do bring family or friends to join in the fun. You can book a place by using the link below.

WALKING TENNIS‍ STARTS THIS WEEK

Want to play tennis still but at a slower pace, recovering from injury or are you a complete beginner wanting a bit more time and practice in a supportive setting? Come and try Walking Tennis with us and bring a friend. It’s a slower game, where the ball can bounce twice, there is no jumping or running and you play with modified equipment. Our NEW SESSION STARTS ON TUESDAY 21st MAY 12noon till 13.00 and weekly thereafter. £3 for members and £5 for non members. The link to enter has gone out to members in an e-mail on how to enter. Please be aware the closing date is SUNDAY 2nd JUNE so don’t delay, remember to enter. You will need to be available all day on the 9th June and finals day Sunday 21st July

This months American Tournament is on Sunday 26th of May from 2.30 – 4.30pm. Members will be sent a link to book.

Men’s Vets Doubles v Meopham on Friday 24th May away at 6.30pm – Francesco and Mark P

Ladies Singles v Bexley  on Saturday 25th May away at 2pm – Simone

Ladies Doubles  v Sidcup Recreation on Thursday 23rd May at 6.30pm – Diana and Ashling

Mixed Doubles v Bromley Wendover on Monday 27th May away away at 6.30pm – Tom and Ashling

All of these games are in the quarter final stage of the cup

North Kent

Over 60’s Men beat Crescent 2 at Home 5-3 in a very gritty struggle. The team playing were Greg Gadd & Jon Beaumont and Hessam Khoshevisan & Rob Thomas. Thanks for the photo, the common theme lately is one person missing, spot who!!!

Mid Week Vets beat Catford Wanderers 2 Away 8/0. The team playing were Dave Robertson, Libby Tuson, John Fielding & Sandra Woodcock. Thanks for the photo, again one person missing, guess who…… apparently left to find sunglasses!

Men’s 1 lost 4-8 at home to Park Langley 1. It was a well fought match. Thanks to the team playing, Ricardo Pinheiro, Greg Lucas, Devanshu Jain, Max Saunders, Oscar Petterson and Sam Morgan. Thanks to Ricardo as acting captain, really appreciated.

Ladies 2 played at home against Sundridge Park 3 and won 2.5-1.5. A close match in lovely weather. Apparently enjoying the weather so much they forgot to take a photo this week!! Team playing were Ros McKeown, Di Roberts, Marion Tourral Hopkins and Ruthie Frost.

Men’s 2 lost against Park Langley 2. Team playing were Iain Goosey, Francesco Donadio, Jan Are Mo, Ricardo Pinheiro, Arvind Bassi and Sam Morgan.

Kent

Mixed 1 lost 1-3 against Kemsing 1 at Home. It was a very close match. Team playing were Jan Are Mo, Di Roberts, Arvind Bassi and Oksana Boklag. Thanks to Jan for stepping in and acting at Captain this week, much appreciated.

Men’s 2 played Frindsbury away on Sunday and won 4-0. Team playing were Tom Annable, Mark Plonka, Jack Andrews and Tim Morgan.

Men’s 4 played at home against Walmer 3 and won 3-1. The team playing were Perry Rich, Chibuike Ejiegbu, Abel Coolen and Neal Tuson.

National League

U14 Boys beat Bromley Sports Club at Home 2-1. Team were Max and Travis. Well done boys
