An email has been sent to members with the link for entry. It will be resent today. You will need to be available all day on the 7th July and the club Finals Day on Sunday 21st July. Entries will need to be in by 30th June 10am.
WALKING TENNIS SESSIONS
Want to play tennis still but at a slower pace, recovering from injury or are you a complete beginner wanting a bit more time and practice in a supportive setting? Come and try Walking Tennis with us and bring a friend. It’s a slower game, where the ball can bounce twice, there is no jumping or running and you play with modified equipment. Sessions are on Tuesdays at 12noon till 13.00. £3 for members and £5 for non members. Go to Tom’s page on Clubspark to book a place:

SUMMER TEAM NEWS & RESULTS

North Kent Cup
Ladies Singles vs Bromley Wendover on Thursday was postponed due to the inclement weather. Natalie Ali will be now be playing on Friday 5th July at 7pm, so please come along and support her.
North Kent
Ladies 2 won against Sundridge Park 3 Away on Wednesday. That’s the double against Sundridge Park, winning both home and away. The team playing were Ashling Carroll, Oksana Boklag, Caroline Maponda and Charmaine Ooi. Awesome job ladies, well done.
Over 60’s Men drew 4-4 against David Lloyd Sidcup at Home. A really solid performance against a really strong opposition. This keeps us at the top of the league, amazing result. Team playing were Greg Gadd, John Beaumont, Hessam Khoshnevisan & Peter Ward. Thanks Pete for stepping in at the very last second, much appreciated.
Men’s 2 vs Gravesham 1 Away – postponed due to torrential rain!

Kent
Men’s 3 lost 3-1 Away to Broadstairs 3 on Saturday in horrible conditions. Big shout out to Dave Robertson who stepped in last minute. The other team members were Fred Moreau, Tony Millard and Jason Barkworth.
Ladies 2 won against Brenchley & Matlock 2 Away, with a score of 3-1. The team playing were Alberta Bosco, Alex Rangelova, Jenny Challis and Alison Farrington. Special thanks goes to Alex for stepping in at the very last minute.
National League
Ladies lost to Tunbridge Wells at Home in a shoot out. Team playing were Natalie Ali, Ros McKeown, Charmaine, Maria Perfect & Karen Attard,
Men’s A beat Blackheath A 4-2 Away. A great result, well played. The team playing were Mylan Roberts, Greg Lucas, Devanshu Jain & Matt Snellin.
Men’s B defeated Beckenham 13-1 (that’s 6-0 in old rubbers). The team playing were Jack Rowland, Arvind Bassi, Thomas Annable, Alex Todd & Mark Plonka.
