Finals Day is taking place all day on Sunday so please do come and support the members taking part.

The order of play is below. All members will be sent an order of play and it will go up in the club house.

The remaining Semi Finals still to be played this week ahead of Sunday’s finals are as follow;

Wednesday 17th July – Men’s Main Draw, starting at 7pm will be Richard Fay vs Jack Rowland

Saturday 20th July – Men’s Main Draw, starting at 11am will be Mylan Roberts vs Devanshu Jain

CLUB HOUSE UPDATE

A new cooker and dishwasher for the kitchen have been ordered and will arrive this week. They should be up and running soon, we will keep you informed. In the mean time please do not touch or try to use the old appliances, they will be removed as soon as possible.

NORTH KENT CUP

U14 Boys Cup Singles Semi-Finals took place on Tuesday. Max represented the club and played so well, sadly losing to his opposition, but we are super proud of you Max.

JUNIOR SUMMER CAMPS

Wow, its almost the kids summer holidays, so don’t forget to book. Tom has put all the dates up on his pages on Clubspark, so you can be super organised and book now. As usual you can book a day or the whole week (4 days). Camps will be happening for five weeks across the holidays And you can of course have non members, family and friends book too. WALKING TENNIS‍ SESSIONS

Want to play tennis still but at a slower pace, recovering from injury or are you a complete beginner wanting a bit more time and practice in a supportive setting? Come and try Walking Tennis with us and bring a friend. It’s a slower game, where the ball can bounce twice, there is no jumping or running and you play with modified equipment. Sessions are on Tuesdays at 12noon till 13.00. £3 for members and £5 for non members. Go to Tom’s page on Clubspark to book a place:

SUMMER TEAM NEWS & RESULTS

Good Luck to all our teams playing in their up coming matches this week, hopefully this rain might subside at some point!!!!

North Kent

Ladies 1 drew with Bromley Wendover 1 Away. The ladies playing were Maria Perfect, Natalie Ali, Ros McKeown and Diana Roberts

Over 60’s Men drew 4-4 against Gravesham Away this week, in super tricky weather conditions. The Team playing were Greg Gadd & Jon Beaumont and Rob Thomas & John Fielding. The team are still top with 2 games to go, but there are 4 teams that could still take the top of the league….. watch this space. Thanks for the photo : )

Men’s 1 lost to Sidcup Rec 1 Away. Sidcup put on an incredible BBQ for our team, thank you. The team playing were Francesco Donadio, Ricardo Pinheiro, Jan Are Mo, Fin Renwick, Jack Andrews, Jack Rowland. Thank you for the photo, looks like you all enjoyed the BBQ

Mid Week Vets 2 beat Hartley Country Club 2 at Home 5-3. This concludes the season with 5 wins and 1 defeat. Well played team, a really great season. Those playing this week were Rob Thomas, Alison Farrington, Hessam Khoshevisan and Cate Woodcock.

Mixed 1 lost to Crescent 1 Away on Saturday. The team playing were Tim Morgan, Max Saunders, Tony Millard, Natalie Ali, Karen Attard and Jan Are Mo.

Men’s 2 lost 8-4 in a really tough match against Park Langley 2 at Home. The team playing were Iain Goosey, Joao Ribeiro, Ricardo Pinheiro, Jan Are Mo, Arvind Bassi and Alex Todd.

Ladies 2 drew 4-4 against Willetts Rec 1 at Home at the weekend. The team playing were Ashling Carroll, Charmaine Ooi, Ruthie Frost and Marion Tourall Hopkins.

Kent

Ladies 1 lost to a very strong David Lloyd Kings Hill 3 Team at Home. The team playing were Jo Thomas, Sandra Woodcock, Judi Fielding & Cate Woodcock.
